Gods and Mortals

This is a series of mainly large scale works painted in oils . The size allows me to get lost within the painting as I work. I like to create a world from subjects which spark my imagination from books I've read and people I've encountered, both historical and mythological . Here I try to turn paint into skin, one of the most frustrating and thrilling endeavors one can attempt.
